For those interested in the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica, this itinerary
provides time for you to explore several important protected areas with a rich diversity of wildlife, ranging from the northern Caribbean coast to the
southern Pacific Coast, and a cloud forest in-between. You will explore the
areas on guided walks and in some cases, by boat.

Day 1 ~ Arrive San José: After you collect your luggage and clear customs you will be met outside the terminal by our local representative, who will be holding a sign with your name on it. Our representative will collect your vouchers and present you with an itinerary with scheduled times of pickup. You will be transferred by van to your selected hotel in San Jose.

Day 2 ~ San José to Corcovado:Transfer to the airport for a 50 minutes flight to Puerto Jimenez. Continue by van for a 45 minute transfer to Lapa Rios Ecoresort. Afternoon at leaisure to enjoy the facilities offered at your lodge.

Day 3 & 4 ~ Corcovado: After breakfast, select one of the on-site tours.

Corcovado National Park -
The crown jewel of Costa Rica’s national park system, it is considered to be the last significant virgin rainforest in Central America. It is home to 367 species of birds, 140 species of mammals and 116 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 300 species of trees.

Day 5 ~ Corcovado to Manuel Antonio: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Quepos. Upon arrival transfer to your Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio National Park - Famous for its pristine beaches, Manuel Antonio is surrounded by tropical rainforest and possesses options for all kinds of travelers. The national park beckons with a wide variety of flora and fauna, including a colony of squirrel monkeys.

Day 6 ~ Manuel Antonio: Day at leisure to explore Manuel Antonio National Park which has the prettiest beaches in the area. The Park is closed on Mondays and there is a park fee of $10 per person.

Day 7 ~ Manuel Antonio: Day at leisure to arrange an optional tour.

Day 8 ~ Manuel Antonio: Air transfer to the airport for your flight

Shared Manuel Antonio National Park Tour - Rain Forest, Beaches and Coral Reefs! Have an experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through one of the most beautiful National Parks of Costa Rica. During this 2 1/2 hr walk, you would learn about the history, flora and fauna of the park. Snacks and refreshments are offered and guests may remain in the park after the tour, to enjoy the white sand beaches.

Shared Savegre River Rafting Trip -
The Savegre River, one of the most pristine rivers in the country and surrounded by lush vegetation and meandering waters, features class II and III rapids that are perfect for beginner rafters. Stopping along
the way for great swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls. On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the tropical rain forest. Towards the end of the trip, the group will stop and have lunch at the little village of "Silencio' before enjoying a comfortable drive back to the hotel.

Shared Canopy Safari Tour - Pure adrenaline! Experience the rainforest canopy through a course of 10 zip-lines, 18 platforms, 2 rappel lines, a suspension bridge, and a Tarzan swing. Expert guides will assist you to make this one of your most memorable experiences through the treetops. Additional attractions are a butterfly garden and snake exhibit.
